Gaming has been with me since childhood. As a little boy, I spent hours flipping through Quelle catalogs and dreaming of computers. After school, I regularly went to the Quelle store just to stand in front of the Commodore 64 and marvel at it. A neighbor's kid got a C64 – I waited for days at his door until he let me play too.

My mother saw how much I wanted one. She secretly saved up and bought me my first own C64 with Datasette at Quelle. In that moment, I was the happiest kid in the world! I played for months – unforgettable days. I still have my original C64 today, and I also got the C64 Mini. Every now and then, I become that little kid again and take a trip back in time.

All consoles below followed after – each with its own memories. More details on each console page!

Why Retro?

Modern games are impressive - but the old classics have a special charm. Simple graphics, genius gameplay, and memories of hours-long sessions in front of the CRT TV. That was real gaming!
